QUICKQUOTE!

“I’ll WALK!” screamed Kelsey, age 4, defiantly acknowledging her mother who proclaimed, “Young lady, you're in big trouble - you MARCH to your room RIGHT NOW!” And that's exactly what Kelsey did - refusing to MARCH, she turned around and calmly WALKED into her room, as if to say, "I'll go. I'll take my punishment. BUT it will be on MY terms!"

One day in church our 5 year old son Alex was sitting there thinking about what he was going to be when he grew up. He decided that he was going to be a farmer. He was going to have lots of animals and LOTS of tractors. Then he asks, "Mom, do you want to live on the farm with me?"

"Sure, I'd love to live on the farm with you Alex," I said. And without missing a beat he says, "Gee, now I'll have to get a bigger farm."

I'm not sure if that means I'm fat or that I take up alot of space. But in a kid's eye I took up alot of room!

This was a conversation I had with my friend's 3 year old son, Kolbe the other day while we were at lunch:

Kolbe: I have a girlfriend!!!
Me: You do!? What's her name?
Kolbe: Mandi
Kolbe's mom, Jenny: Mandi's your age (20s), and works at his daycare
Me: So Mandi's your girlfriend huh? Why is she your girlfriend?
Kolbe: Because she doesn't do nothin'.
Me and Jenny.....Die laughing!

Can't wait to tell him this story when he's older and breaks up with a girl because she doesn't do nothin'!!!!
